He is currently Professor of Accounting at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. His worldwide reputation resides in the analysis and interpretation of corporate narratives and their links to financial performance. This expertise in 'words', 'meanings' and 'cryptic messages' fostered an interest in complex crosswords which resulted in a first compilation titled "Professor's Puzzles" published in 2011. The success of this volume has motivated this second compilation.
