Adam seems too good to be true, but he was outside of his normal habitat, able to be a simple version of himself, I wonder if he's going to be the same in New York.Charli is a dreamer one who hasn't been crushed by the rules of the perceived normal society rules, she was stronger than I was at that age, i guess shes lucky to have had Alex raising her.She's now out in the big wide world, hopefully it's not going to crush her individuality as she ventures out and stretches her wings.The story is a reminder of that fabulous feeling of first love, the magic, intensity and all consuming need for each other.I'm reminded of my own feelings at their age, luckily my all consuming love was the lasting kind, I'm eager to read book 2 to find out what happens to Charli and Adam next.
