Easy Holiday Recipes

These recipes can be used all year round but I find them to be excellent for when you are expecting a crowd around your home and you don't want to spend all your time cooking. Sounds like the holidays!

What are your favorite easy holiday recipes?
We all have our favorite recipes but sometimes we want to try something a little different. Often it's because we can get a little fed up of our normal recipes or sometimes it's because we have a new guest come to celebrate the holiday with us and we want to try something else for a change.
Maybe it's because we're more confident and want to move away from our normal fare and go for recipes that need a bit more time or expertise. More often than not, all we want are recipes that are tasty, can be scaled to cater for larger numbers and are relatively easy to make. Who really wants to be in the kitchen all day, especially if you have family around?
There are so many different nationalities and holidays to celebrate that we are certainly not stuck for choice. I thought it would be nice if I could gather a batch of these recipes in the one place. Then I thought "just how am I going to organize this?"

Eventually I just decided to concentrate on six main areas. The thinking behind this was to make it as easy as possible to find recipes that could be used for all occasions and numbers of guests. I do hope you enjoy these as much as we do. Remember, have fun!
