Meh. It was giving “oops, that HEA ending left an MC unhappy/under happy”Glad for Jamie’s happy ending since “Us” left him basically a trophy wife, or “WAG”, but these novellas that authors like to put out because the original series ending left some readers unsatisfied has never been my favorite. Either just write it into the previous book, or leave it alone. It took me 3 days to read 7 chapters, less than 50 pages. That’s how thrilled I was reading this book.
