I'm giving this book ★★★ 1/2, it would have been 4 ★s but the last chapter became too cliche man proposes to woman for marriage of convenience(woman realizes she loves man, calls off engagement) but he's has been hurt in past and the people of the little town berates him and make him the fool ... there had to be a better less predictable way to end this book.I'm beginning to see a pattern in these small town books but will keep trying to find one that surprises me.
