Nicholas
Being king was never the life I wanted. But it was the one I inherited.
Every decision I make belongs to Valoria. Every smile, every appearance, every promise.
Including the one that says I’m expected to marry a prince I’ve barely met.
It’s the perfect match.
The perfect alliance.
The perfect future.
Until my new footman starts reminding me there’s a difference between being loved by a nation… and being truly seen.
Noah
Serving the king is my job. Wanting him is my biggest mistake.
I’ve spent years standing just out of sight—straightening cuffs, opening doors, making sure the man carrying the crown never has to carry anything else.
He’s kind when no one is watching
Lonely in ways the world never sees.
But kings don’t fall in love with footmen.
They marry princes.
No matter what my heart wishes every time he looks at me.
When duty collides with desire, we’ll have to decide whether some fairytales are worth rewriting.
I already know the answer, though. I’ll never be Fit for a King.

All opinions are my own.Fit For A Kingby Ella Frank and Brooke BlaineTropes: Grumpy x Sunshine, Forbidden Romance, Royal Romance, King x Footman, Upstairs / Downstairs. Class Difference, Opposites Attract, Secret Relationship, Forced Proximity, Touch-Starved Hero, Duty vs Desire , MM RomanceThis book tells the story of Nicholas and Noah. Nicholas is set to become King after his father's recent death. Growing up, he learned to be a closed-off and serious person. Noah is a footman who gets a job serving Nicholas. The focus is on how their bond grew. To get together, they had to overcome hurdles and rethink their views. Royal stories aren't usually my thing, they're a little too serious for me, but this was fantastic. I had a ton of emotions while reading this book. Nicholas and Noah's relationship was so sweet, it made me smile a lot.The story moved at a good pace. I was totally hooked.Gabriel, who's Nicholas's twin, was a major highlight in that book. He was so funny! The polar opposite of Nicholas. I really enjoyed seeing him be so loving and protective of his brother. This was one of my top books this year. Hoping for another one about Gabriel. Fans of forbidden love and grumpy/sunshine stories will really enjoy this book.
