Freestyle for Michael

All the excitement and "go-Go-GO" of a swimming meet are in the pages of FREESTYLE FOR MICHAEL. In it, twelve-year-old Michael Brown joins a specially selected group of boys and girls to be trained by the high school coach during summer vacation. Not only does he learn what it is to be a real swimmer — the diligence, patience, and intense practice it involves — but also what it means to be a member of a team. Cocky at first, Michael finds out the hard way that the group must come before any of its members, no matter how good he is, and that there is no hiding place for poor sportsmanship.
FREESTYLE FOR MICHAEL is as tense as a close race, as fast-moving as a relay.
