...Giveth ...Taketh Away is the story of a man who craved few things in life. His journey begins far from home in the very last days of a long drawn out war. He and his three teammates start to dream of home and many other comforts they had not enjoyed in years. But they soon find out, they must stay a little while longer. These four men become guests of a small village located in the foothills of the Ural Mountains. It is here that they become aquainted with the resiliency of the Russian people, and begin to live again. One man also learns of a human kindness and authenticity, which he never believed really existed in the world.
