Gray Wolf and the Butterfly

The Gray Wolf Series was born when Ira Edward Crowe, Sr. began telling tales of adventure to his grandchildren, weaving each of them into the stories and delighting them with their new exploits. Before long, he had created an entire series of stories which became known as The Gray Wolf Tales. In the oral tradition of folk tales, these stories were told and re-told to his children and grandchildren. Gray Wolf and the Butterfly is the first in the Gray Wolf Series of books as retold by his daughter, Barbara Crowe. Presented here for all to enjoy, and beautifully illustrated by his grandson, Ian Crowe, these stories are once again brought to life as they were in the original telling.
