Sinceramente, n tenho nada doq reclamar aqui.
I pretty much have the same feelings about this book as I did the first. The crudeness and language take some of the enjoyment away but the characters, the setting, and the tension are all so well-written that it feels like real people we’re reading about. Minor *
Finally finished this thing. Honestly, no idea why I was hoping it’d be better than Rhett’s book, ‘cause the real issue is this author’s writing. She can’t write one chapter without sex showing up. Like, the characters are always either talking about it or thinking about it. There’s zero romance, zero cute moments — nada. And the worst? Every single character is like that, even the old dad. That’s what pissed me off the most while reading. Everything’s just about sex, full stop. Plus, Willa and Cade have the worst personalities — basically eternal teenagers or something. I legit hated every second of this story and swear I’m never touching another Elsie Silver book again.
Willa is one of the best fmc's that I have ever read, she is the perfect mix of witty, wholesome and caring. Cade's grumpy, responsible and organised personality makes them the most perfect couple. The scene of them first meeting is one of my favourites, along with the scene in which Luke asks Willa if he can call her mum (the cutest scene ever). Luke and Willa's relationship is perfect and she steps up to be the best mum for him, teaching him how to defend himself and have fun whilst also making sure that he is kind, thoughtful and respectful. Throughout the book we are gifter with the most perfect flirty scenes between Cade and Willa making it an amazing and most enjoyable read.
This was a refreshing improvement on Flawless. It's a shame as I loved Rhett and Summer and their story deserved more but I ma glad they are in this book but the absolute star of this book is clearly Luke! He is so freaking adorable. You can tell even from the start with Cade being a grumpy asshole he lived for his son and their relationship is proof of that, such a loving boy. I like the build up to Cade and Willas romance better. It felt more organic especially given Cades past. Now the scene at the birthday party and what happened to Luke made me so mad! I loved Willas response and I just wish Cades confrontation to the kids mother was on page as I think he would have been a great protective papa bear and it is a shame that wasn't included. I do love that we get more Harvey in this book. He is so funny. I am looking forward to see where this series goes and especially Beas book.
I don't exactly know why, but this was easily 5 stars for me! The sad, angry broody man meets the fierce, hurricane firecracker of a woman 🤌🏼*Spoilers below*🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨🤠🧨I've never been into "age-gap", or "accidental pregnancy" but this story was so good and so raw!!Cade Eaton was so beautifully broken 🥹
these sex scenes are so hard to read she's trying way too hard to make him sound sexy or authoritative or whateveri can't with these spicy chapters which is so weird cus i love a good smutty book but this is just way too cringy (but also i am enjoying it obv lol)i thought it was reckless that had "the pregnancy trope done right" not heartless?? okay but i kinda love this turn of events wear protections kids (i looked it up and it is reckless people were talking about and i've found like no videos about the heartless pregnancy trope)i really get why willa is everyone's favourite girli feel like they're moving a bit too fast (obv ik the pregnancy was an accident) the whole initials on the pavement thing with the these will be your initials soon bit like didn't they meet like two months ago it's very cute though i must admit and it's fiction so it's not that deepluke is carrying this book and the summer and rhett cameosi actually couldn't care less about whatever "sport" he appears to be doing"maybe i am heartless after all, because the beautiful girl with the copper hair grinning back at me right now is the one who stole it" is such a cute line and i love when authors use the title of their book especially in like the closing bits of a bookokay that got me luke asking to call her mum that got me for sure i teared up a littleRHETT CALLED SUMMER PRINCESS AGAIN (i think it's fair to say i preferred flawless)okay yeah this was cute but 432 pages?? i was so done by the end i literally put it down and said "okay that's cute but shut up now"like flawless an enjoyable read and it made reading feel fun and i whizzed through pages but it wasn't as enjoyable as flawless and in general just more cringey and annoying and drawn out ngl they are so cute though and i can't wait for their cameos in future books i love a good grumpy sunshine single dad romance and the cowboy atmosphere is just impeccable like the vibe of i can fix him (no really i can) from ttpd
-I like the idea of Cade and Willa together...its going to be interesting to see how they work together
-Poor guy has to run the ranch and look after his 5 year old son...what happened to the mother is my question
-"Well kids, when I met your dad, i had just dropped my panties in a coffee shop and then came over to babysit your older brother"...now this is just funny what a meeting...however rumpy Cade doesn't want her near his son because of the 'panties in his pocket'...bit weird
-I like that we get to see Rhett and Summer in little bits when they are now engaged it's cute
-I also think that Willa is really good with little Luke as she talks to him as if he is a person who understands things and she is also very good at ensuring that he knows what is right and wrong
-I think it's really great when she start doing these little things to help take care of him and the house when he is busy...he ends up being really confused and is definitely not used to it...he lost his mother when he was 8
-This poor little boy is such a sweetheart...he was bullied by another iid and Wills shoved them in the pool and now the little 5 year old is ill and it's so sad that he is upset about it
-she looked after their baby boy and then Cade us looking after her 😙
-Willa is now pregnant with a Baby Cade on the way but she feels shit that he will think she tricked him...again
-There was no third act breakup as Cade and Willa realised that this kid is what they wanted together...and my god Luke is adorable
-The scene of 'can I call you mom?' Is so heartwarming its ridiculous...why is he such a sweetheart a sweet little boy
