Henry Moore in the Light of Greece

The aim of this book is to enable the reader to appreciate the full extent to which Moore's work has affinities with the art of ancient Greece, and to gain an awareness of the many influences it exercised upon the sculptor.The illustrations cover both works of sculpture as well as drawings, including some of the seminal pictures of people taking shelter in the London underground during the Second World War. The book is extensively illustrated with archival photos of Henry Moore throughout his career.
