This is the 3rd book in this series, and both characters appeared in the previous book, but if you haven't read that one you will be able to enjoy the story. Ms O'Leary has always been able to add backstories to her books without it distracting from the current storylines.Ryker realises that Amy has some issues and takes his time to woo her, and this does Lean the romance to a slow burn scenario. But it's in no way drawn out, infact I think the author did a great job in creating two characters who have pasts that have defined them, and how they both have to trust both their own emotions and each other's intensions to move forward. To offset the slow romance this book has some exciting mission action that the team have to complete. The main reason I love these books is the SEAL teams tight bonds and interactions. This mission was quite an intense time and I love the suspense and getting lost in the teams seamless coordination and I devour these pages this mission means the team have really tricky decisions to make, and these end up bringing the danger home.If you're a fan of action suspense and romance check these books out.
