Hostage Heart

He blackmailed her into marriage...

Drew McKenna was running from her threatening ex. Fate stepped in with an excuse to be half a world away, in West Berlin.

Rolf Erhardt wanted to escape, and would do anything to get out of the East. Suddenly he saw his chance, the daughter of America’s most brilliant scientist—now a pawn within his grasp. A plane full of innocents, grounded because of a storm and held prisoner in East Germany, would be freed only with Drew’s promise to help Rolf escape the country. The promise: so alarming, yet so crystal clear, she had no choice but to agree.

Neither Drew nor Rolf could guess that their desperate struggle for freedom from chains of the past would arouse unbidden passions--so like the wild and wicked storm that had brought them together. Though Rolf coerced Drew into a secret marriage, from their first kiss—her first sigh—Drew’s heart became his willing hostage.

But once Rolf secures asylum in the United States, no longer requiring their union, will he simply throw Drew aside—into a freedom she no longer desires?
