How to Create an eBook for FREE That you can Sell Online

One of my favorite things to do as someone who is newly self-employed (as of May of 2012) is to create eBooks. EBooks are a great way to run an online business. You can directly sell your eBooks in online stores such as Amazon's Kindle store and Smashwords.com. You can also sell your books directly from your own website if you choose to.

As with anything in business, there will always be some sort of upfront investment in order to earn money. That is true for eBooks as well. However, rather than spending money to create the eBook (which you can do if you choose to outsource some of the steps), I learned to do them all myself for free. Therefore, my only investment is my own time. I literally create "something from nothing". In other words, I simply sit down at my computer and create a "product" at absolutely no cost, and I then turn around and sell the products online. Isn't the internet awesome!!

However, it's just another medium to sell your books from. I personally prefer to sell all of my books from my own website because it gives me much more control.
