I enjoyed this trilogy, although the fantasy element is nearly nonexistent. I don’t think I’ll be reading the novellas. That’s me done with Fonda Lee for the time being.

An amazing end to the saga. I've been in tears so many times due to this. A deep journey. Focussing on points which I adore being focussed on. Family, found family, and friendship. Ending this story satisfied.

One word EPIC.This shows the clans moving to a war being fought in the boardroom than in the streets and the legacies that will continue after the pillars pass on. The love and life lived by the Kauls and the beauty that is family. This hits you in the feels breaking you time and time again over the 30 year span of this book with a very surprising end.
