Junior

What happens when an extremely insecure man is raised by a powerful father and put into a position of authority? When this man, who is managing his internal anxieties all the time, develops into a megalomaniac and sees himself at the center of the world with all the power and all the answers? And when reality threatens he isolates himself in order to nurture his own delusions? Junior considers this situation.

Jack Williams is a playwright/screenwriter of more than a dozen works with staged performances and filmings of his work in New York and Sydney. A garage artist with no academic position to defend he was involved in the Lower Manhattan theatre scene from 1993 to 2006. Performances of Jack's work include "The Brutal Gourmet" at Dick Shea's Theatre in New York and a filming of "Inbetween" by noted director Lawrence Scott in 2006. In 1996 Jack spent time in LA working on projects concerning his screenplay "Nothing's Free".

Jack has recently relocated to Sydney, Australia and his most recent work "Junior" (previously titled "Whirled Peas") was performed at the Old Fitzroy Theatre in 2008. "Junior" has been published as an eBook for Kindle on Amazon striking its own parabola of being raw yet polished.
