Khaki Campbell Ducks

Published in 2000 in paperback by Beech Publishing House, Elsted Marsh, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 0JT, this 72 page fully illustrated book is about Khaki Campbell Ducks, which are a breed of duck developed by Mrs. A Campbell. They originated from here aim to produce a duck which laid well and was a reasonable size for eating. The first specimens came into existence just over 100 years ago and were preferred as 'Khaki', which was a gesture of patriotism, at the time of the Boer War. Other Campbell ducks also exist - there is the White Campbell and a Light Brown (Dark Khaki Campbell), which allows sex linkage by colour to be practised. This book covers the history and management of this popular duck. It also gives a brief survey of Dr. A. Campbell and Mrs. A.
