J'ai bien aimé cette introduction. Concernant les personnages je pense que Aren était trop naïf au début et qu'il n'écoutait pas les avis des autres qui avait finalement raison. Ensuite s'agissant de Lara, la meuf avait subi un lavage de cerveau trop important pour que se soit aussi simple. Et comme je le dis toujours une bonne conversation honnête règle tous les problèmes.
I was confused in the beginning. I tried to understand what the hype is all about because while the world and politics in it were very unique I was starting to wonder, where is all the action? It gave “you were good, i’m waiting for you to be great.”
I decided to push through and give the book a chance and good thing I did because it was pretty good! the book picked up on the second half and I loved the romance.
I came to the book with high expectations and it unfortunately did not deliver, hence the 4 stars, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this was a nice read.
I really wanted to rate this 4.5 or 4.75 stars. But I couldn't. I enjoyed reading it too much!Slow burn romanceWho hurt you?One bed trope (ish)Enemies to loversIt was pretty predictable plot line.
