Krystalla

Krystalla is the story of Asha, a 12-year-old girl growing up in New York. She is depressed and distraught after the death of her father and now she is stuck living with her nasty, and sometimes violent, uncle in her father's apartment. But there is more to Asha's life than she could possibly have imagined. Completely unknown to her, she has suddenly become the most wanted person in a different world, called the Sky Isles. The forces of that world are in pursuit of Asha, with vicious spinners and the half-man, half-god Da Derga leading the way. Asha is saved by a 12-year-old boy, Brian, and the two team up to escape Asha's pursuers by entering the Sky Isles. The Sky Isles is a world at war between the Dea Alpii and the TorVik and while both sides want Asha for different reasons, they ultimately want the same thing－the death of the young girl. Asha and Brian find themselves constantly getting out of trouble while at the same time, they begin to figure out the extraordinary mystery that is Asha.
