In a world beneath the waves, where the power of legacy looms larger than love, a mer-prince finds himself entangled in a web of duty and destiny. Tasked with marrying a mermaid princess to secure the future of their kingdoms, he grapples with the weight of his responsibilities. As the ocean's currents shift, he begins to question whether fulfilling this obligation is truly the path he desires.
Meanwhile, the mermaid princess is not just a pawn in this political game. With dreams of her own and a fierce spirit, she challenges the norms of their underwater society. As their lives intertwine amidst the shimmering depths, they must navigate treacherous waters, confronting their true feelings and the expectations that bind them. Will they choose to honor their families' legacies, or will they defy tradition in pursuit of their own hearts?

legacy lost apparently is a prequel to the of Poseidon series. as I haven't read the first book yet I thought this would be a great intro to the series. but as I grew to love the characters, tragedy Strick's and you are left feeling as stricken and lost as the characters. still not sure if it is a compliment to the writer or not. I might just have to read of Poseidon 1 to really make sure. so look out for my review on that.
