I received this as an ARC from the authorsThis is truly one of my favorite series. Valen is such a sweet angel baby and I love him. I loved having more of Ava and getting to see more of her personality and just learn about her in general. I cannot WAIT to see how her powers develop in book 3. Somehow Zav was even funnier in this book. And I loved the friendship between the girls!I want to talk about Mystery Man!!! His appearance had me screaming! I adore him and while I don't think he can take Zav's place as my fave of the guys, I think his whole storyline might end of being my fave. I'm so so sad to see this all get wrapped up. But I'm so interested to see how Aura does it. Shit is cray rn
✨🖤 ARC REVIEW 🖤✨Loving a Witch is Totally Foolish by Aura Hayes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If chaotic paranormal romance, unhinged banter, and “touch her and die (but make it emotionally damaged)” energy is your thing… congrats, you just found your next obsession 😌This book picks up RIGHT where Loving a Vampire is Total Chaos left off and somehow manages to be even more feral. Ava is out here trying to survive heartbreak and instead gets slapped with: surprise!! you’re a powerful witch with a vampire mate and also… everything is worse 😭Valen?? BOOK 👏 BOYFRIEND 👏 MATERIAL 👏This man is soft, intense, slightly unhinged, and learning how to exist in modern life while also trying not to combust over his mate. The way he chooses Ava, not just because of the bond but because he genuinely falls for her?? Yeah. That’s the good stuff.And the relationship??Forced proximity + fated mates + trauma healing + “I would burn the world for you but also gently hold your hand while you process your feelings” = perfection.Also… the spice??Let’s just say somebody has been studying 👀🔥The humor is STILL top tier (Zav & Celine chaos returns thank god), the side characters are thriving, and the overarching mystery?? It’s getting deeper, darker, and I am absolutely feral for book three’s mystery man 🫠This series has officially become one of my favorites.
