4.4 ~ 4 I was shocking intrigued. It was a fun, short, and quick read. There was a little miscommunication, which brought down to 4 stars

The world-building of this was much better than I thought it was going to be. I am actually excited to read the other two in the series.My only complaint about this book is that the ending seemed rushed. Like the Author suddenly realized the page count and needed to end it asap. They went from having no idea what the plan was, to the end of the book in 5 or 6 pages. I almost thought it was going to be a cliffhanger ending...and for once in my life...I wish it had been. I would have loved to have stayed with this couple for another book.
