Mabel Takes a Sail

As in her previous adventure (Mabel Takes a Ferry), also set in Islesboro, Maine, canine sailor Mabel is excited to be going on a sailing excursion with her family. But this time there is a slight hitch: the new puppy Maxine is coming, too. Mabel Takes a Sail is filled with sailing tips, including a glossary of terms, and gentle safety reminders that parents and children will appreciate. And the illustrations of the beautiful Maine coast by artist Dawn Peterson are magnificent.
