Mark My Words - Encounters With Jesus

Author Matt Gordon puts together a masterful blend of essays that satisfyingly serve the dual role of being both an inspiring devotional as well as a thoughtful and substantive study of the Gospel of Mark. With humor and relevance, My Words - Encounters With Jesus appeals in the richest of ways to both the most devout of believers and the seeker still exploring the merits of a Christian life.
Jesus offers a way.
But what happens when Jesus is moved off the cover-when Christianity becomes a series of petty rules or political positions? When the church devolves into a slick spiritual marketing firm? This winsome book, a snapshot into the Gospel of Mark, depicts Jesus-the way he encounters the world and the way people encounter him. With wit and relevance, My Words invites the reader to do the encounter Jesus and his way.
