Modern Architecture Guide: Britain

This guide to modern architecture in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland (1945-1989), focuses on outstanding buildings of the last 25 years; buildings have been selected for the manner in which they exemplify style, innovative features or a new use of materials. Almost 400 buildings are featured, amongst which are the Sainsbury Centre, Quinlan Terry's classic revivalist Richmond Riverside development and John Outram's Pumping Station in London's Docklands. The book is intended for the use of architects, architectural students and interested members of the public.
