Open Arms

I loved this book! It's a cute story with in my opinion, just the right amount of spice for the story and there's also an element of suspense towards the end of the book that keeps you totally engaged in the story to find out what happens next. I absolutely loved Mason and all of the little things that he did for Chloe, especially the way that he comforted her when he went to her cabin and she was crying. {Chapter 14}Some of my favorite scenes from "Open Arms" were when Mason took Chloe to Whittier Falls' Fall Festival and the spicy kitchen counter scene. I also LOVED the ending of the book, it was so sweet! 🩷These were a few of my favorite lines/quotes from Open Arms;"Mason's eyes met mine, and in that moment, I saw a glimmer of hope in their depths. I let myself feel it too. I could say we were friends all I wanted, but lord almighty, I wanted Mason Bridges in every way I could have him. The timing just wasn’t right." {Chapter 14, Page 102}"Anticipation and curiosity swirled in my stomach like the steam rising from the pot. I gave the sauce another stir, reminding myself to breathe. After a while, I realized I’d been daydreaming and didn’t know how long I’d been standing there stirring. Hot cowboys did that to you, sometimes, I guess." {Chapter 18, Page 134}"We’d spent the rest of the weekend apart, trying to keep our distance so he could spend some father-daughter time with Abby and not be distracted. It was a good idea, because every part of me knew that if we’d tried to hang out, I wouldn’t have been able to avoid climbing him like a tree." {Chapter 20, Page 148}This book is perfect for anyone who loves a good sweet and steamy cowboy romance.
