Senti como se fosse Criminal Minds. Gostei bastante, mas eu esperava mais já que todo mundo fala tanto dessa série. Talvez os outros sejam melhores. Mas esse foi um bom começo.
I looked at the cover of this book and the name of this series and thought... Well... actually I had no idea what to think. Really I was just hoping I wasn't getting tricked into reading a smut book again but this book definitely wasn't that.So I start the book and the little warning about the author saying how she knows her book is messed up has me wondering whether I'm about to read a kind of Natural Born Killers type book and honestly, it's not that far from the truth.The book starts out with a scene that immediately sets the rest of the book up. Two people with a very matched set of profiling skills but in other ways couldn't be more opposite. They're essentially 2 sides of the same coin.Without giving too much away, I have to say this book is great, it follows 2 characters, constantly switching between their perspective and does a really good job at making you believe not only who they are but also the world they're in and their professions with enough suspense to keep you wanting more.On top of all this, you really do get behind the justice being served to the despicable people in this book.In terms of writing and editing, I really liked how this book is short, it feels like each book in the series is an hour long dark romance/thriller series that you're watching.There's a few editing errors which is one of the only real downsides but overall it's a great short read.

And I thought that I wouldn't like it because I already know the plot and especially the mystery, but oh, was I wrong. I think knowing what happens actually makes it wayyy wayyyyyy better. My absolute favorite series. I reread this series at least once or twice a year.
