I don't know how to describe this book besides hilarious and kinky.I fucking loved it tho.
🥵🥵🥵 "Extra Spicy" does not begin to describe the spice level, and I was not prepared for what I just read! I definitely should have read a few reviews before starting this one, but by the time super extra spicy began I was invested enough in the story that I had to continue! This lost a lot of the "romantic" side as the story progressed,, the romance felt forced in as an afterthought to me.

WTF have I just read. DNF @ 35%There was absolutely no need for this book to be 750 pages, I only made it to page 260 and I'd had enough. I also listened to this book so the spicy scenes through my headphones were questionable, especially when it was in Jake/Caleb's POV and the man was narrating and it was Rachel moaning...just didn't fit and it had given me the ickThere was absolutely no plot to this book at all, I was searching for it for 260 pages! Like it started off strong and made me interested in the beginning and then it just went REALLY down hill from there.The guys were so immature (especially Jake). Also Jake questioning whether Rachel wants him or not after she has literally just said "I want you, you're mine" is CRAZY and actually drove me up the wall.Rachel just also annoyed me, i have no idea why, she just did.None of the characters were likable and they were just all giving desperate and pathetic.Her saying Jake is like her 'pussynip' was a huge ick and actually had me laughing as to not THROW UP. Also saying she was being 'impaled' and to be 'speared'......wtf.The only quote I can remember is "Send him a picture of your tits, you have great boobies girl, share the love" and that was a slight slay, also was said by Rachels friend so not even a main character!Honestly, all in all....i don't think I can actually name anything good about this book. APOLOGIES!!
2.75⭐️ Started off well, but after about the 30% mark it slowly began to fall off. The characters lost their initial appeal and the dialogue especially felt very surface-level and cringe. It had me rolling my eyes a few times. It was still a silly, fun time but dragged on way too long. Unfortunately I'm yet to find a why-choose that really hits for me. ☹️
What was this book?! Why was it 800 pages long? I had lost hope to ever finish it, to be honest, and not because I wanted to dnf. I simply felt like this book would go on forever. The sexy scenes? Very good. And I loved the bisexual exploration. I loved the fact that it was all done so respectful for every person involved. I appreciated that at no point did I feel icky about the entire situation and I didn't feel like it was in any way degrading to Rachel, which is hard to do with this kind of dynamic.The 3⭐ is for everything else. The length of the book, while I understand it was needed, in order for us to get invested in all the relationships and also enjoy some really steamy scenes, was still a bit much. Also, I found myself severely physically cringing at some points, especially in the last chapters.I don't think I'll continue with the series, but I don't think I'll ever be able to take this book out of my brain.
3⭐️This is my first why choose book and I have to say it was quite a trip! The actual story and the emotions around it was interesting though I did struggle to find the connection between a couple of the characters! That being said I will finish the series and won't turn down reading books by Emily Rath
Abandon à 46% ... Le début était pas mal malgré quelques répliques étranges genre elle a vraiment parler de signe astro pour expliquer leurs attirances etc bref. Le smut est omniprésent et bien bien long ce qui est logique car en dehors de ça y a que dalle vraiment pourtant je vois bien 700 pages dans le livres mais bon j'arrivais à un moment où des événements s'enchaînent juste pour que l'un des garçons couche avec Rachel, j'ai aussi une version où il y abun problème avec le nom en POV c'est écrit Caleb dans plusieurs chapitre mais on suit finalement Rachel.Je pense que si on raccourci les scenes de smut et qu'on étoffe des problématiques (de réelles problématiques) entourant le hockey et autre on peut avoir un bon roman qui a 700 pages mérité.. alors que là bref j'ai économiser du temps en survolant le reste du roman et punaise heureusement que je n'ai pas plus poussé.
Sabía lo que iba a encontrar al escoger este libro, claro, pero esperaba que hubiese algo más de historia entre tanta sesión calenturienta. Aparte, las escenas aquí mostradas sinceramente me aburrían un poco. Jake es el personaje que más surrealista me parece y, hablando desde mi punto de vista, del que menos me fiaría yo como persona.

Solo che a differenza dei romanzi che ho letto in precedenza, questo mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso poiché l'autrice ha dato molto spazio anche alla parte sentimentale della storia. Ho trovato questo romanzo molto coinvolgente, era un po' che non leggevo uno sport romance con l'hockey come sport principale. Il romanzo si legge molto bene, la narrazione è scorrevole e non ci sono momenti di noia, tutti i protagonisti sono ben caratterizzati e sanno cosa vogliono. Le diverse scene spicy tra i personaggi sono coinvolgenti e non risultano ne forzate ne volgari, ci sono diverse scene ambientate durante le varie partite, nel palazzetto ecc...
I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for a book, but I love this book so much that I just had to! I loved every character in this book! The way that Emily rights them makes you feel like you know them and that you’re right there in the room. I feel like I was watching a movie as I read this book because I could see feel and hear everything she described. Well maybe not feel everything. 😂🙈Thank you so much for this book Emily !
