Reading the Horses Mind

Lifelong horsewoman Jackie Budd shows us how to see life through a horse's eyes and how to use his natural instincts to advantage rather than as sources of conflict. For those who ride primarily for pleasure, Budd gives invaluable advice on how to handle and care for a horse and ride with sensitivity in order to foster a rewarding relationship built on mutual trust. She pays special attention to the training of the young horse, which is fundamental to success in any equestrian sport.
The author supplements her own extensive knowledge of horses with remarkable insights from some of the most famous people on the international circuit today. READING THE HORSE'S MIND will put into perspective the reasons for so many equine traits and behaviors and enable all horse lovers to enjoy an even stronger connection with their horses.
