Rougher Beasts - Eight Short Stories

In this collection of eight captivating short stories, Erik Williams pulls back the curtain on the darker side of humanity. Rather than the fantastical beasts lurking in shadows, these tales reveal the monsters that walk among us—tourists with ulterior motives, neighbors hiding secrets, and coworkers whose ambitions border on the sinister. Each character is a reflection of the complexities and flaws inherent in our everyday lives.

Williams’ prose is both engaging and thought-provoking, drawing readers into a world where the true horrors are often found in the choices people make. As he weaves these narratives, he challenges readers to confront the unsettling truth that sometimes, the fiercest battles are fought not against mythical creatures, but against the very essence of human nature.
