We follow them as they fight to survive where they now have to live. This is a brilliant concept, and honestly, it very much reminded me of the original Jurassic Park movies. I love the stereotypical fight for survival and this did that really well. Kevin is a really great character, shown to have to fight and mature more than his years, and he feel really well developed. This comic made me cry twice, truly, and I didn’t expect that at all. It was really well done and the emotions on the pages were real. The only thing that really let this down was the artwork. It was well done in parts but in other parts, it wasn’t great and made me roll my eyes. I’m not in love with it, but I also don’t hate it.The story line was really well thought out and the cliffhanger it left off on has really made me want to read the next instalment in this. I’ll definitely be looking out for the second part of the series. The characters in this didn’t all feel real. They felt very “here’s a character” and that was it. There wasn’t much development on them and I was left with a lot of unanswered questions that don’t look like they’re going to be answered in the second book, which has left me very “ehhh” about the comic.Other than all of those, it was really well done, and I loved seeing how they created the panels in between the books. This was brilliant and I really recommend it.
