This book was so good! The tension between Kayne and Rain was off the charts and watching them battle themselves and sometimes each other was so entertaining. As is the case with this series, there was the forbidden romance and taboo nature to this book with them being step brothers. I loved seeing the character growth for the two MMCs and the slow realisation that they were into eachother. Kayce we got to see in the previous books so I know how much he’s grown as a person and to see him find out that his sexuality was not as he thought and then accept himself and open up to his friends and family was so sweet. These characters were easy to feel connected to and had me coming back to see what happened next. I smashed this one out over two days because I found it hard to put down! Would definitely recommend.

Ughhh that man. He was there for Kayce from day one, carrying it all quietly, never letting it show.
