Welcome to the 2014 Halloween edition of Schlock! Webzine, jam-packed with ghosties and ghoulies and long-leggety beasties to curdle your hair and make your blood stick up on end!

This week we welcome the long-awaited return of James Talbot, one of Schlock’s first ever contributors, with the beginning of his dark fantasy novel The Vixen’s Den. It’s followed by a seasonally-themed Halloween Prayer from Gary Murphy, and an eerie Meeting in Olde Towne by Joseph Rubas. Kevin Rees reveals what horrors lurk behind The Green Door, but meanwhile Mr Thomas is sitting in Parliament.

I’m celebrating the season with a few shuddersome folktales and ghost stories. In Terror from the Edge of Space, the centipede heads for Phoenix Arizona. Sandro D.
