Following the events of Shadow Threat, Tom Marlowe has a new role in MI5, a new team and a new purpose. However, when the mysterious CIA operative (and occasional ally to Tom) Sasha Bordeaux vanishes after being accused of high treason, her former partner Brad Haynes calls in a favour. He's the man in charge of hunting her down, but the deeper he digs, the more convinced he becomes that Sasha was framed - and he needs Tom's help to prove it.

Going off-books and under the radar, Marlowe and his team follow Sasha’s trail to Boston, where a Cold War-era listening post known as "Sentry Point," buried beneath the city’s North End — long decommissioned, never fully erased — may hold the key to the truth.

As Marlowe uncovers a conspiracy tied to long-forgotten operations, assassinations, and a secret list of names marked for silence, he realises Sasha wasn’t running—she was hunting.

But someone’s hunting them both.
