SEXTON BLAKE: THE COMPLETE MISS DEATH: Blakiana Collectors' Series

Legendary detective Sexton Blake battles with the most tragic of his many opponents! When Yorkshire lass, Diana Temple, discovers that she has a heart condition which will surely kill her, she sets out on a criminal campaign, intending to wrest money from corrupt businessmen to give to hospitals and other worthy causes. She is assisted by a gang of colourful crooks, over whom she gains implacable control thanks to "The Book of Death," in which all their past misdeeds are detailed. Set in the industrial north of England during the 1920s, the four yarns are rich in eccentric characterisations, cunning plots, and fast action! This, the complete history of "Miss Death" by Gwyn Evans, one of the most whimsical Blake authors, adds up to over 110,000 words.
