Welcome to the CrossRealms, one of the few spots in the world where the three dimensions of the universe, the heavenly, earthly, and underworld collide. Such places are home to Guardians and their agents, who oversee the forces fighting to keep the world safe.
Felicia Montgomery is one of the Heaven Fallen, extremely powerful souls who died fighting for good- who didn’t get to rest. Sent back to earth and the family she loves, rejoining her team isn’t easy. Heaven was beautiful. Heaven was painless. Heaven was safe. Learning to fight again is torture for someone who is supposed to be so brave. None of the Guardians or agents understand her pain or see behind the mask she wears, except Nox. It’s strange that a vampire, a Darkling who was forced to switch sides for survival, is her biggest ally. Nox may have given up mortality, but he didn’t give up the ability to love or show loyalty.
