Pros: The writing. AMAZING. The humor was very good and the deep bits of analysis over the society, the human nature and what hell actually feels like was a surprisingly powerful mix.Cons: I didn't care about the actual plot in any way. There was something about the story that I can't pinpoint, but it both confused and bored me. I couldn't give you a summary of what happened and I genuinely don't understand what happened at the end. I know that's probably my fault, but I read the final chapters twice and I still don't fully understand. (So, if anyone can explain, mostly, what happened to the Harrison family, it would be greatly appreciated).
This was slow at the beginning but slowly gained speed. How everything was unraveling was believable, it made sense. Some things didn't, like how first they describe the night without a moon, and less than an hour later the only light is coming from the full moon, but besides small things like that, the main twists and turns were well executed. I do have a lot of questionsthat I wish could get an answer, but they are mainly character-related due to the "open" ending which is to expect.
