This book was very cute and a lot more fast paced with a very strong, single plot while building on to the rest of the series. It was actually quite refreshing to step away from the main story line and I can't wait to see how these characters contribute to the rest of the story. It was my first time reading from the PoV of someone in their 30s and I don't know or feel like it was very accurate but if we ignore that aspect, and the initial shock of how fast the relationship was developing, it was a very heart warming duo
First starting this novella, I wasn’t sure how places set so far from one another would relate back to each other; until the small details clicked characters and their motivations in place. The relationship between Lilith and Vale was funny, sweet, and representative of a neurodivergent love with great representation of born disability without hindering the timeline of the novella.
