توضیحات
In a world where faith and philosophy intertwine, this story unfolds in a realm ruled by beliefs, often leading to absurdity. A disillusioned god, once revered, finds himself in a peculiar pickle, reduced to a mere tortoise. As he navigates the challenges of a universe that seems to have forgotten him, the narrative delves into themes of power, spirituality, and the often-comedic human condition.
Narrated by a talented cast, the experience comes alive with vivid characterizations and an engaging tempo. Through their performances, listeners are drawn into a rich tapestry of satire and wisdom, where the journey of understanding transcends the boundaries of tradition and dogma, inviting introspection and laughter alike.

The thirteenth Discworld novel. Religion is a controversial business in the Discworld. Everyone has their own opinion, and indeed their own gods. Who comes in all shapes and sizes. In such a competitive environment, there is a pressing need to make one's presence felt. And it's certainly not remotely helpful to be reduced to be appearing in the form of a tortoise, a manifestation far below god-like status in anyone's book.

This is now one of my all-time favourite books. It's funny, insightful of humanity and religion, witty, thought provoking, and even touching in parts. I'll definitely read this again in future.
