The Almighty Credit

Jinx unexpectedly separates from the Defiant crew when her super wealthy Arashikage familial ninja clan/secret society independently builds a hyperdrive-capable, single-occupant and scout-class starship. With this new development, Jinx conducts her own space missions on behalf of Star Brigade, America and earth. For her first solo op, she explores an earthlike paradise planet filled with countless flora/fauna species. When a major interstellar corporation arrives to take the virgin, resource-rich planet for its amoral own, Jinx faces a difficult decision: let the company ravage the planet for money, or stand against them and risk pulling earth into an interstellar crisis. Back home, Defiant is in danger of being decommissioned due to her controversial activities in space to date. If this happens, Jinx might become the only hope for continued exploration beyond the solar system.
