I haven't read this book since I was a kid and when my daughter got this for Christmas I was probably more excited than she was. This has definitely stood the test of time; it is as fun and crazy as I remember. The BFG is definitely nobodies fool despite his way of talking. The relationship that he builds with Sophie in the short time they are together is heartwarmingly genuine.Thankfully my daughter enjoyed this and was excited for me to read it every night.
