توضیحات

In a quiet town where shadows blend with the whispers of dark legends, Jenny faces an unthinkable terror as her friends begin to disappear, one by one. The ghostly wolf and phantom snake, embodiments of a sinister force, haunt the edges of her reality, instilling a haunting dread in her heart. Each loss brings Jenny closer to the chilling truth that these supernatural entities are not just fables but relentless predators determined to claim those she loves.

As the tension mounts, Jenny is thrust into a race against time. She grapples with her own fears, wrestling with the growing realization that she must confront these malevolent spirits to save the remaining friends who stand at the precipice of doom. The lines between reality and the supernatural blur, forcing her to delve into the town's dark history to uncover the secrets that bind the creatures to her community.

Amidst the escalating chase, Jenny discovers her own resilience and courage. The journey transforms her from a fearful bystander into an empowered protector. She finds allies in unexpected places as she navigates the treacherous grounds of friendship, loyalty, and sacrifice, ultimately testing the limits of what she is willing to do to reclaim her world from the clutches of darkness.

This started kind of slowly given the bang with which the last book ended. Also, the idea that they should tell the police the truth in a situation like this? Terrible idea. What on earth were they thinking? They are super lucky they were considered traumatized and not insane or murderers. Or insane murderers.Tom was creepy throughout. He was basically stalking her, but refusing to actually talk to her. I just don't like him and I don't really get why Jenny does.I liked the little riddles to be solved and the eerieness of people disappearing one by one. This very much ended on a cliffhanger, which the first book managed to avoid. I am never a huge fan of them, but I do tolerate them in the middle book of a trilogy. In general, I liked it. It was a quick little romp of horror with characters that I have (generally) grown to like.
