This book was surprisingly entertaining. I loved the lore of the gods, the plot kept me engaged, I didn't see the plot twist coming for once!, the smut was fire too.The characters weren't fleshed out enough for me to care about them but i did like the ideas of them. The mild insta love i wasn't a fan of, but and the plot didn't pick up till about half way through? But I'm excited to keep reading to see what happens. The book felt like it morphed from a simple monster romance book into a deeper plot with betrayal and magic.
