Well, Jewel E. Ann never fails to deliver an emotional rollercoaster in her books. And The Homemaker has all the angst we’ve come to expect from her, along with such a beautiful story! This book won me over in every possible way. I loved the characters, the plot development, the captivating writing, and all the twists and turns. My rating is highly biased because she’s one of my favorite authors, but if you have a soft spot for angsty stories—the kind that keep you turning pages and make it impossible to put the book down—give this one a chance. I promise you won’t regret it! 🤍 Fun fact: this book was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight”, so if you’re a Swiftie who loves to read, consider this your sign to pick it up! 🩶
