Considering I love Christmas, I was hoping to try my hand at a Hallmark ish Christmas romance, as opposed to my normal fantasy.So many regrets.Firstly, WHY. Why do we ALWAYS make the woman give up *insert something she didnt want to give up* for a man, to get her happy ending? I see this in so many books. This one? She moves home. THe ENTIRE story is about how she doesn't wanna live in the small town anymore and bam. Change of plans I guess.Secondly, he is a doctor. And I just don't think he sanitized his office afterwards. Thirdly, it just felt, I don't know, fake? The smut scenes changed it from Hallmark to porn and then the story couldn't pick a direction. Do not recommend.
