It was going really well until the last 15% where it got super toxic and red flaggy.
The Pucking Wrong Number was such a fun, addictive, and completely unhinged dark hockey romance! The wrong-number text hooked me immediately, and I loved watching Lincoln’s fascination with Monroe turn into full-blown obsession.Lincoln is one giant walking red flag—but he’s also possessive, protective, jealous, and willing to do absolutely anything for his girl, which is exactly the kind of morally gray hero I enjoy. His behavior was wildly over-the-top, but that was part of what made the story so entertaining. This definitely isn’t a sweet and fluffy hockey romance!The story was fast-paced, spicy, and hard to put down. If you enjoy obsessed heroes, “touch her and die” energy, dark romance, and men who take protectiveness several steps too far, you’ll probably have a lot of fun with this one.I’m excited to continue the series!
