The Sikh Experience: Foundation Edition

A study of the Sikh religion, designed for below average Key Stage 3 students of religious education. It is part of the Seeking Religion series, which seeks to offer balanced, factual and culturally sensitive approaches to the major world religions, along with opportunities for students to explore and reflect upon their own beliefs and values. Topics covered in this text include Guru Nanak; what Sikhs believe; being a Sikh - birth and initiation; daily life; worship and the Gurdwara; Sikhs celebrating; festivals; and equality and the place of women.
