I read this book in one day! It was inspired by the true life unsolved abductions of several women in Ireland in the 90s. It had short, intriguing chapters and the perfect pace to keep me flipping the pages, thirsty for answers! When you get a twist in the very first chapter, you know it’s going to be good! This book was packed with twists that I truly didn’t see them coming! The chapters mostly alternate between Lucy, sister to one of the missing women, as she desperately seeks answers about who/where/why her sister was taken; Denise and Angela as they investigate the case; and most interesting and chilling of all, the first person POV of the abductor himself, as he tries to explain how and why it all began. The end was kind of open, which I didn’t love for this book. There are a few things I wish would have been concretely answered. Otherwise, this was a page-turning, suspenseful thriller that I’d recommend any thriller/true crime fan picking up!
