I loved this book so much. I'm so pleased we got to see Threshing Day for these characters in this way instead of part of a conversational retelling. These little insights add to the previous three books by answering some questions we had, such as why Sawyer hadn't been bonded his first year. However, it also drop some possible hints that leave us with more questions and made me even more excited for book 4! These accounts are funny, heartwarming, intriguing and bittersweet.
I do still kinda wish we had been given Threshing Day insights for some of the older generation such as Lilith Sorrengail and Fen Riorson, but I was far from disappointed with those we did get.
