The threats have never been more prevalent. Danger lurks around every corner as I seek strength from surprising allies and promised oaths. It's time I break these chains and embrace who I am, what I stand for, and what I am capable of.
I'm not here to protect the academy, the Elevin Realm, or the Monarchy. I live, breathe, and fight for my Bishops. If that makes me selfish, then so be it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. There were moments I felt like skimming but I'm glad I didn't dnf this series. The twists and turns were great. The spice didn't take away from the story for the most part. Speaking of spice, 5/5
